Susan and Victor Roggio met while attending The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia. Soon afterwards, in 1970, they founded Roggio Silversmiths. Despite the business's humble beginnings and the couple's modest expectations, they soon found that their jewelry designs were in high demand. It wasn't long before Roggio Jewelry could be found in fine gift shops and boutique stores in nearly every state.
Victor and Susan continue to find great satisfaction in their work. They still personally design every piece of jewelry that they sell, and each piece is hand made. They persist in their unending pursuit of learning and understanding the nature of jewelry as art, and people's need for the beauty and joy that it brings.
